Feature Spotlight
In the last version of Crystal Space (1.4), a new specialized mesh was introduced for advanced animation. It mixes vertex-based animations with skeletal animations through an extensible and flexible animation blending tree system.
This new animated mesh has recently received many further improvements in the development version of Crystal Space (2.0), with the addition of new animation nodes such as the 'ragdoll' and the 'LookAt' nodes. The 'ragdoll' node is a generic solution for the animation of part of- or the whole skeleton made through physical simulation, while the 'LookAt' node is a handy system to bring life into an avatar.
