General Information

During this month of September, Crystal Space programmers will gather in Barcelona, Spain, for a harsh time of coding. They all share a common interest in the development of Crystal Space, which is why the developers are meeting. This is made possible by the Spanish company GrupoIkusnet, who is helping out with some infrastructure (like power, food), and CSOA La fibra, a lively decorated squatted factory.

A hackfest (known as hackathons more commonly) is an event when programmers meet to do collaborative computer programming. These events are typically between several days and a week in length.

Session and topics

The agenda is very dynamic, and the list below is not comprehensive. It is a guideline based on the interests of the arrivals when they come.

4th sueastside arrives 18:00. sueastside, iceeey and caedes can talk about Peragro Tempus.
5th res2k arrives at 15:00. Aprict core present, find out more about entity system in PT and discuss possible AI or skeleton in CS.
15th thebolt, groton, Oktal and vknecht present. This day is designated as a discussion day. Topics are CS (physics, bindings split, animation), CEL,

Apricot, future gamedev, other proposals and presentations. There is maybe a plan to setup an audio conference with LugRadio if they are willing.

16th Render manager talk, and learn stuff from thebolt :) After he has left do more work on tools.

19th sueastside leaves. Implementing CEL stuff with darek if he's still around.
